1. [GAWILKIN-L] Sealed GA records
2. Respond to: [email protected] My name is Marc Willis. I live in Birmingham, AL. I have traced my roots back to Wilkinson County to 1820. My ancestors were married there in 1826. Last year one of my distant relatives were told that the marriage applications from that time are now "sealed". What does that mean? Is there any way that I can get to them? Thank you very much, Marc Willis 127 Southlake Lane Birmingham, AL 35244

2. Thanks Gervaise. The Nesmith Gen. Society had a very good meeting a couple of weeks ago. We missed you. Maybe next year. I do not have any information on Mary Davis except when she died and where she is buried. Uncle Floyd (Mattie's son) told me before he died when his grandmother died and where she was buried. Hope I can find some information on her. 2. Elizabeth Angus
3. looking to connect with anyone that is a member of the above family names. They were in Wilkinson county in the 1800's, mentioned in the Victor Davidson book. I am especially interested in anyone that has any knowledge about the Bower/Bowers connection to the Davis family and if anyone has information as to where the descendants might be today. In the Victor Davidson book, Henrietta Bowers was the granddaughter of Oren Davis. She was childless. She had written a history of her family and that is what I am seeking to see if it still exists, somewhere. Does anyone know who would have lived in the home place after her ? Any connection to her or knowledge of her (speaking to older relatives that lived in Wilkinson County) would be appreciated and I will pay back the genealogy gods in some way, some day.:) Elizabeth >
