Smith connection was a lawsuit for the "State vs. Zach. Smith, Larkin Clark,and Williamson Clark, indict. tespass. True bill against Zach. Smith and Larkin Clark. No bill against Williamson Clark." I've been told that "indict." means "indictment," that "tespass" maybe be a misspelling for "trespass," and that a "true bill" is something like a grand jury indictment.
