Ga Queries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ga/Wilkes/10690 Surname: Swindall, Adcock ------------------------- I am currently researching Matthias and Elizabeth Swindall who appeared in the 1850 Henry County Kentucky Census "Born Germany". Their son Jacob, Elizabeth, and Theodor Swindall appeared also in the 1850 census. I have reason to believe that the family moved to Illinois in the late 1800. I also believe that Mathias had a brother or Aunt who married George Adcock Buckingham Co. Va and Shelby County KY. I have a cousin whose grandfather was Joel Adcock who in turn was George Adcock's grandson that told him as a child he would visit his Swindall cousins in Illinois. Jacob also witnesses an Adcock Marriage in Shelby Co KY. I have recently spoken with some Swindall who were related to Mathias however they did not know any further information. Apparently Mathias line moved to Texas in the early 1900 from Illinois. Any help would be greatly appreciated.I do not know if they had any relative in Wilkes County or not, however there may be a conncection Thanks,
