I am very sorry that I have no info for you...but you have given me some. I, too, am a descendant of Letty Durham and of Thomas Jr. who ended up in Magoffin Co., Ky but I had nothing else on either one. Thank you for Letty's birth year and the "legend". I had the note that Thomas Sr. was killed by Indians, although nothing of the circumstances. I also had the note that Letty Durham was a Cherokee or part Cherokee and that the two were married in either GA or NC. Please let me know if you find out anything else about this couple and I'll return the favor if I get any information. THANKS!
