Thank you, Mr. Weaver, for your report on the 222nd Memorial Ceremony at Kettle Creek Battlefield in Wilkes County. I have been to one of those ceremonies and it IS impressive. All the things you mentioned in your report are so true -- it IS moving to pause for a day under the big beautiful trees on that impressive hill and remember WHY "all those people" are there. . .to be prepared for the future, we need to be aware of the past. . .
