I am always looking for information on families named LETT and KINMAN in WIlkes county GA. One of the biggest mysteries to us is why men named Kinman and Grant deeded an entire household's worth of goods (everything from spinning wheels to pots and pans to tools) to "the children of Daniel Lett" in Wilkes co in 1801. The children later moved to Pendleton/Owen/Scott/Harrison counties KY (and still later to Jennings co, IN by 1820). The Kinman family also moved to Pendleton and Harrison co KY. We know quite a bit about the kids---but almost nothing about the parents...and we are sure that discovering more about the deed and the families in Wilkes would help us. Thanks, Sherri
