Rebecca was apparently the daughter of Ambrose and Nancy (unknown) SLATTON. I believe that their familes were originally from the Wilkes Co., Ga. area. The name MILES is very often written as MILLS. My Miles clan moved to TN and then to KY and later to Mo. In Ky they lived in the Knox and Whitley County area. Does anyone know anything at all about this family; (From Whitley Co., KY Vital Stats; as written) JUDA MILLS, age 69, died 1855 in Whitley Co., Ky. of Flux, Dau. of John & Nancy MILLS Juda born in Elberta Co., GEORGIA Are there any marriage records online for this area?
