    3. Have you tried Bastrop, Texas (Bastrop Co.) Several Callaway's are mentioned in my Barrett information, one being a brother in law of my great great grandfather Richard Barrett who left Wilkes Co. Ga. and moved to Bastrop, Texas.They left Bastrop and came to Daingerfield shortly after 1860 . At that time Daingerfield was in Titus Co. but Titus Co. was later divided up it is now in Morris Co. There is a Community in Cass Co. named Lassater in Marion Co. which is not very far from Daingerfield. I do not where it got its name. If I get any info I will try to let you know.
