Ga Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ga/Wilkes/10743 Surname: Clark ------------------------- My gr gr grandfather Richard Elijah Clark 1833-1897 of Randolph County Arkansas joined the confederate army in Eleven Points Mo. 8/7/1862. He signed up in the 8th Mo. infantry and later is found in Loves Calv. He was captured at Fairplay Mo. 10/30/1864 and spent the rest of the war as a POW first at Rock Island Ill and then in Point Lookout Md. He was released in prisoner exchange 5/18/1865. I have info he came from Georgia as a chilf to Arkansas but can't find the link. I'm also looking for links between him and Gen. Elijah Clark. Any help would be appreciated.
