I am planning to drive through Wilkes County (sorry to say, I won't have very much time) on Saturday, May 5. I am a descendant of Richard Aycock through his son, Henry Aycock, who married Mildred Malinda Stovall in Wilkes County. Around 1820 they had moved to Morgan County, Alabama, where I still live. Another descendant a couple of years ago did find the location of Richard Aycock's home. Unfortunately my computer crashed and I can't find her e-mail or snail mail address.
