He died c. 1815, but estate not settled till 1848 when his wife must have died. Their children married into my Burdett(e) & Cooper families. Sons Amos & George were in Chambers Co., AL by time of 1860 census & probably before that. Sale 27 Jan 1848. Amos Huguley, admr. Returns rent of land in Ala. 1848, 1849, 1850. Bill of Columbus Enquirer for advertising sale of land in Lafayette, Al in 1850. Receipts of John, Zachariah & Geo. Huguley for their distributive shares except land in Early Co., Ga, FL and Ala. 1849. Receipt of Geo. Huguley as trustee for Sarah Walker; of Geo. F. Cooper; of Zachariah McKenney; of Geo Huguley trustee for Nancy Cooper; of Benj. Tankersley; of Jas. Bafford, by their atty in fact, Job H. Ross, and of Job H. Ross for his distributive share, all signed 1849 in Wilkes Co., GA Tax receipts to Geo Huguley, agt for Amos. Huguley for tax 1848-50 in Chambers Co., Al. Does anyone know who the Albert Burdette living in Amos' hh in 1860 Chambers Co., AL was? 1860 Chambers Co., AL Hughley, Amos 57 Farmer b Ga Naomi 45 (Dallas m. 1832 Lincoln Co.,GA) Burdette, Albert B 35 wood workman b ga not sure about these 2, but appear to be davison age 12, and william age 9.
