My gg-grandfather was Arden Moore Stewart, m. Martha Ann Dorrough in Wilkes Co., GA. I'm uncertain of the dates at the moment (1856?). I have never found any of his people, even in the droves of Stewarts in the GA/Carolinas areas. Your Mary Ann could possibly have been an ancestor of his, maybe not. I am sorry I am not full of detail at the moment...a house fire destroyed all my records, and I am not yet back up to speed. This Dorrough family is extremely well-documented, but, as I say, I have been at the brick wall with the Stewarts. Arden and "Mattie" are buried at Philadelphia, Neshoba Co., MS, only a short distance from Lauderdale Co. Any ideas?? Bonnie
