Ga. in the early 1900's. Reading parts of Wilkes Co history I found it to have been inhabited by Cherokee Indians and Irishmen. Julia Walton was Cherokee Indian and married William (Bill) Woods a white Irishman. I believe they had seven children. Does anyone have any information?
