What do you want to accomplish this year with your research? Find that brick wall? How are you going to do that? Send email? Send letters? Use the message board? Get all your family to fill out a family group sheet? Bribe them? Threaten them? NO. Appeal to their curiosity? Do a DNA test? Get a family member to do a DNA test? Claim it and do it. Brick wall - how long since you took that ancestor out and showed them to someone? Bring them out and show them off either here or on a message board. It pays to advertise. Here's your free commercial. Have you ask family members for help? I can tell you but personal experience, you may not have ask the right question. Those who don't do genealogy, don't know what clues are. For years I ask the wrong questions. When one of my cousins passed, her friend called my aunt and told her there were pictures and other family items she and her sisters needed to come and get. I took my mother and her sisters. At the end of the day, I got all of the pictures. In the pictures, I found pictures of both my grandmothers maternal and paternal grandparents, names and where they were born. All I had ever ask was questions about her parents. Never did It occur to me there was info about the grandparents. Re-think your questions. After the pictures, within 2 weeks I found researching cousins on both sides who gave me great info One gave me a info back to the 1300's. I use that as a bases of my research. Never assume all info is correct. I have a family tree from my husbands side, I know is incorrect. I use that info to prove mine. Take a moment and show off your ancestor, Kemis Massey Admin

It appears that he may have has a twin sister named Maggie. I have his father as Henry Birth March 1854 in Georgia. I have found a census record showing a Nancy as his mother. However, his father's death Cert. lists his spouse as "Monsell" or something like that. Family stories are that Mack's mother was full blooded Native American. He told of fond memories of brushing her long dark hair and that she dressed in traditional Indian clothing. I would LOVE to find Mack's Birth Certificate if there is one, or even his death Certificate (he died here in Brunswick) or marriage information for his father Henry? Anything you are able to locate would just be wonderful! Thank you so very much for giving your time to do this type of thing. I am looking for anyone who may be in this line of Kennedy's. My research interests lie in Edward Kennedy (1776-1853). I don't have much info on his family (his father and mother), the location of his birth, when his family came to the US, and where they originated from. I have discovered a lot of misinformation on this branch of Kennedy's on Ancestry. If you have any info on Edward Kennedy, and are willing to share, I would appreciate it. Thank you. I am a Grantham descendant, just trying to sort out Grantham branches. I have no Taylor ancestors .... yet. Nancy1260. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I believe that a Thomas Grantham from Wayne Co., GA. is possibly related to my Taylor family. The Thomas Grantham I am referring to was part of a group of people who sold 20 acres to John C Freeman in Screven Co., GA. in 1849. Also part of this sale was my gg grandfather, Willis Taylor. Other surnames involved are Drawdy and Spell. It is my belief that since several people who owned 20 acres together, they must all be related. Please contact me at my personal email since I really don't check this site very often. Regards, Jane [email protected] Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
