Does anyone have an Elizabeth ? in their family, born in Washington County between 1800 and 1810 who married a Terrell Brooks, probably in the 1820's or early 1830's. They had four children at least: Nicey, James B., Mary J., and Joab, all born between 1832 and 1844. In 1840, the family was located in Stewart County. In 1850, they were located in Muscogee County. In 1860, only Terrell was listed in the census in Houston County. In 1865, the family was in Covington County, Alabama. In 1870, Terrell, Elizabeth, and James B. (my g-great-grandfather) moved to Texas. I believe Joab was killed in the Civil War unmarried. I don't know what became of Nicey and Mary. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
