Searching for parents and siblings of John WILLIAMSON, born ca. 1780 GA or NC?, died 1851 Emanuel County, GA. John shows up in Montgomery County, GA, in 1811 when he marries Elizabeth SULLIVAN(T); his first grant of land is dated 1812. Emanuel was formed in 1812 from a portion of Montgomery County, but John and Elizabeth are still in Montgomery County in 1820 census, and not enumerated in the Emanuel census until 1830. Children are: Martha (Thompson), William J., Andrew Jackson, Margaret (Morris), Solomon, Mathew M., (Unknown Daughter), George Washington, John J., Riley, Samuel C., Schley H. John's descendants are numerous and have spread to nearly all GA counties, as well as to other states. Where was he from?
