    3. Ray, I am copying Amanda Logue on this email. She is the Genealogy Committee Chairperson for Washington County and may know about your THIGPEN ancestors. I am also copying the Washington County list because someone else there may be researching your ancestors also and a group of other Washington County researchers that I correspond with If I should come across any THIGPENs in my research, I will let you know. Thanks, for writing. bp ----- Original Message ----- From: Ray Thigpen <rthigpen@fox21.net> To: <bsparrish@home.com> Sent: Thursday, March 09, 2000 4:56 PM Subject: THIGPEN Gosh! This makes me wanna go to Washington County, Georgia. I would LOVE to find more information about my THIGPEN ancestors. They came out of North Carolina to Washington, Warren and Glascock Counties. My g-grandfather was Samuel T. Thigpen and his wife was Jenny Guy. My grandfather's name was George Washington Thigpen, because they had come out of Washington County. So, they do have a good Genealogical Department there???? Do they have a copy of THE THIGPEN TRIBE... by Alice Whitley Smith??? Thanks, Betty!!! Raymond Samuel Thigpen
