Hello Fellow THIGPEN researchers! I happen to have THIGPENs in my line and most of the Thigpen info at the Wash. Co. Gen. Museum, I've put there. My 2nd great grandmother was Elizabeth Thigpen, dau. of Redding Dawson Thigpen and so on and so forthe. I do have parts of The Thigpen Tribe by Alice Whitley Smith. I have the parts pertaining to the Thigpens in Washington and Laurens counties. I also have a good bit of Thigpen info that others have sent me that isn't in my direct line. Let me do a little digging through my stuff for you and I'll see can't I locate something on your ancestors. Thanks! Amanbda P.S. I don't know why everyone has the misconception that Sherman burned everything...we have great resources and they're pretty organized unlike some of the counties that I've been to. ----- Original Message ----- From: Betty Parrish <bsparrish@home.com> To: <GAWASHIN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, March 11, 2000 11:21 AM Subject: Re: THIGPEN > Ray, I am copying Amanda Logue on this email.
