    3. Thanks, Ray, looks like you have quite a list there going back a long, long time. I am copying this to the Washington County list and to Amanda at the Washington County Genealogy Society. Bet someone their can help you. I will keep this information on hand as I am researching a lot of different surnames in Washington County. Never can tell when I will run across a THIGPEN. Please stay in touch, bp ----- Original Message ----- From: Ray Thigpen <rthigpen@fox21.net> To: Betty Parrish <bsparrish@home.com> Sent: Saturday, March 11, 2000 12:04 PM Subject: Re: THIGPEN Hi! I am printing out a list of the DIRECT LINE of Thigpen names I am researching. Their name, year of birth, and wife's name. Thought maybe this might help if you came across something John Fitzpen 1380 Eleanor Tipping Thomas Fitzpenne 1405 Elizabeth St. Albin Joseph Phippen 1432 Alice Belasyse John Phippen Fitzpen 1457 Joana Malet Henry Phippen Fitzpen 1495 Alice Pierce John Fitzpen Thickpenny 1525 Anne Holton Robert Fitz Pen Fippen 1560 Cicilly Jordan Owen Fitzpen 1582 Annie Coiniers John Fitzpen 1604 Sara Seagrave James Thigpen 1627 Elyn James Thigpen 1664 Elizabeth Manwaring John Thigpen III MD 1694 Sallie Evans James Thigpen MD 1716 Elizabeth Lawrence Joshua Thigpen 1736 Sarah Norwood Nathaniel Norwood Thigpen 1755 Mary Moore James Thigpen 1774 Elizabeth Claiborne Hiram Thigpen 1804 Susan______ Samuel T. Thigpen 1849 Jenny Guy George Washington Thigpen 1890 Mary Lou Hobbs This dumb email program doesn't support tabs, so it's gonna look a little garbled. Just wish that I had a copy of THE THIGPEN TRIBE. University Microfilm wants $165.50 for a copy of it. Ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My wife would shoot me if I paid that kind of a price for a book. Hee Hee!!!! Thanks for any help you can offer. It's much appreciated!!!!!
