Hello Folks, I'm looking for information with regards to the Joseph TANNER listed in the Washington Co GA Census of 1820, 1830 & 1840. I am directly searching for a Joseph Tanner b abt 1795 GA and moved with wife and children to Jefferson Co FL abt 1843ish, but in time to be eligible to vote in the fist Florida election of 1845. He with family are listed in the census of 1850 in Jefferson Co FL. I do understand that the Tanner name was in Washington Co very early on and has remained a presence to the current century.
