Hi All! Actually, the restaraunt is the Country Buffet on the square. At one time it was G.C.'s but Neil Pittman bought it several years ago. There is no Clinton Restaraunt. There is a Motel Clinton (tip: don't stay there!) which has a chinese restaraunt. We also now have a Mexican Restaraunt in Tennille, Teresea's. Also, I keep seeing mention of checking with the Genealogy Museum....You may call anytime and we will arrange to have someone open up the museum. No one wants to inconvienience anyone, but people don't seem to realize that that is the way we at the Genealogy Museum make the money necessary to keep running. We're all volunteers and there's not enough of us to open everyday, but we're more than happy to open up for someone from out of town. Email me personally and I'll be glad to open up any Saturday, since that seems to be when most people visit. If you don't get to visit the genealogy museum, you'rte really doing yourself an injustice. We have more genealogy data than the library or any other place in town. For all of you who haven't been to Washington County in years, you owe it to yourself to visit. We've really grown, but we still have that small town charm and that wonderful southern hospitality!
