    3. Dolores: You can try the Washington County page at www.pollette.com/washington for history of Washington County and Sandersville. Sandersville is the county seat of Washington. Another source would be "Cotton to Kaolin, A History of Washington County, Georgia 1784 - 1989" published by the Washington County Historical Society, Inc. A copy costs $50.00 and although I don't have one, have seen it in the Genealogy library in the Orlando Public Library. It is a great source for people doing research in Washington County.
