Has anyone heard of Geechee Auto Parts on US 1 in Waycross? My mother said that her father used to work there, 1940's-50's. They lived across the street from Geechee Parts in the 40's. James & Rosa Lee Higginbotham lived to their left and the Merrits lived next to them on the right. Scotty's Hardware Store, my mother believes is were Geechee Parts used to be. What I want to know is, Is Geechee the correct spelling of it. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Joy
