Waycross Journal-Herald, Monday, March 1, 1948: MRS. TABITHA LEE Mrs. Tabitha Lee, 77, died at her residence in Manor Sunday night. She was the widow of David J. Lee, who passed away on Jan. 25. She is survived by two sons, Virgil V. Lee Waycross and Calvin Lee, Blackshear; two daughters, Mrs. Richard Barker, Manor, and Mrs. W.A. Crawford, Hilliard, Fla.; one brother, Enoch Dryden, Waycross; one sister, Mrs. Eliza Booth, Gainesville, Florida; seventeen grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Burial services will take place Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock at the graveside in Kettle Creek cemetery. Mincy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Wednesday, March 3, 1948 MRS. TABITHA LEE Funeral services for Mrs. Tabitha Lee were held Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock at the graveside in Kettle Creek cemetery where interment was also held. Services were conducted by Elder Johnny Boone. Pallbearers were Emmett Steedley, F. M. Cowart, Dan Sweat, M.C. Harris, L.L. Roberts and John McInnis. Arrangements were in charge of Mincy Funeral Home.
