Pat, You might want to consider joining the Nettles group at Yahoo. I'm a member and do remember seeing some postings about this particular family. Go to www.groupsyahoo.com and then find the NettlesNews group. A very dear friend of mine, John Nettles of Rock Hill, SC, created the list for Nettles researchers but has since 'retired' from moderating the list. A younger fellow is now in charge of the list (with John the 'Old Coot' as he calls himself, still very much watching all the postings). They are a great bunch of researchers who just LOVE to share information :-) If that isn't the correct URL, just let me know and I'll hunt it down for you. I believe you would want to correspond with Imogene Nettles Smith as this is one of her ancestors. I don't have her email address in my address book but do have some data that she submitted to the NettlesNews list in 2001.
