    3. Friends and Cousins, I posted this URL to the Florida Archives a couple of weeks ago, they have now added MANY more of the actual pension records! Just reading about one of my paternal line grandfathers, Abner Mitchell Rutherford Sessions...he was born March 27, 1837 in Irwin County, Georgia, 1 Battalion, Special Cav, Co F. Found maternal line...ggg-Grandfather Wade Hampton Lamb file, 2nd FL, Co L, The Madison Rangers, he was wounded by a gunshot in the shoulder, and was present at the surrender in Appomattox, VA. You may type in the Soldier's name or the Widow's name. Florida Archives Main Page http://www.dos.state.fl.us/dlis/barm/fsa.html Pension File Page http://dlis.dos.state.fl.us/barm/Pensionfiles.html You will have to have Adobe Acrobat, they are pdf files. The actual old aged images! They have a link to get it at the archive site if you don't have Adobe already. With Adobe 5 you may receive the following error and not be able to view. "Error Reading Linearized Data Hints" This is what happened to me, I was frustrated not being able to view them when they were right there waiting. If you do, you can probably fix it by doing the following, it worked for me. Open your Adobe Program Go to Menu/Edit/Preferences/Options Disable the "Allow Fast Web View" click "OK" then close out and go reopen your Web Browser and try reading the document again! Oh yeah!
