    2. Village of McDonald in Coffee Co., Ga In reading some recently available information on my McDonald Clan from Scotland I found that the village of McDonald in Coffee County, Ga. was named for one of my ancestors - WILLIAM ANGUS MCDONALD b. 1817 d.1896 Is anyone familiar with this village/town? Does it still exist? Any info will be much appreciated. Thanks a bunch, Judy Strickland LEE, CASON, MILLER, MCDONALD, SELLARS, BUCHANAN Just a short PS - I agree with many of the opinions I saw posted recently - this website has always been one made up of people who care about others on our list. If someone is sick, troubled, whatever, we have always been there to lift them up in prayer. Now this is NOT a "prayer chain" - but we do pass the word about those people who WANT us to do it, when they are ill or have serious problems. I wouldn't want to be a part of a site that didn't care about individual members. This was always Linds Angell's point of view - as long as we don't turn it into a prayer line and forget why we are here. I think we can maintain a balance which will be acceptable to all members. And we are certainly always free to communicate on a private level with one another.
