Visitation: March 18, 2002 Service: March 19, 2002 Cemetery: Victory Methodist Church Cemetery Mr. Julian Lamar Corbett, 74, died Saturday (March 16, 2002) at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany after an extended illness. He was a native of Ware County and had resided most of his life in Ware County. He was son of the late William (Will) Corbett and Viola Sedgwick Corbett and was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Carson and a brother, Rufus Corbett. He was a retired master plumber and was a former employee of Waycross Plumbing. He was a methodist and served in the Air Force. The survivors include his wife, Rubye Corbett; a son, Jeffrey Corbett; a daughter, Jennifer Harris (husband Bartow) all of Parrott; three grandchildren, Jospeh Harris, Christopher Harris, and Katie Harris; two sisters, Virginia Thrift (husband Jimmy) of Glenmore; Betty Ann King of Kingsland; two brothers, Ralph Corbett of St. Petersburg, Fla., Carl Ernest Corbett of Brunswick; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Victory Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Music Funeral Home Monday night from 6 until 9 o'clock.
