    1. [GAWARE] John W. Bennett Monument
    2. Listers, The descendents of John W. Bennett had a monument placed in Camp Branch Providence Primitive Baptist cemetery out of Manor, Ware Co., GA in 2001. The monument is located in the spot where we believe he is buried. IN MEMORY OF JOHN W BENNETT *CSA* 5/1838 11/1915 SON OF HENRY & NANCY CORBITT HUSBAND OF SARAH A WILSON ADELINE POLLY NANCY LETA JESSE SARAH WILLIAM JOHN JULIA JAMES We don't know where his wife is buried but we feel it is probably in the cemetery in Camp Blanding in Clay Co., FL. Great Grandmother Nancy Ann Bennett said that her Mother and family were Missionary Baptist. She became Primitive Baptist when she married James Monroe Henderson. John W Bennett was my Great-Great-Grandfather. Thanks to Cousin Kenneth Sylvester for all the leg work involved in seeing that John has a monument to mark his final resting place. Raising money is often a thankless task when it comes to honoring our ancestors with grave monuments. Just try bringing up the topic at a family get together and passing the hat; one learns quickly how uninterested some of our folks can become about giving money to such a cause. For the cause, Christopher Henderson Griffin Boyd
