Hi, this is Judy Strickland! I doubt that there are very many of you who will still remember me. Just wanted to say "Hello" and let everyone know that I'm still here!! To those who are new - I have the Ware Co., 1850 census, a copy of the SAR REV. War Patriots Index, and a searchable index of Passenger and Immigration lists from the 1500's-early 1900's - there are over 3 million names on this index. Before this, you had to have the ship's name or the port of departure and/or arrival. This list, however, is indexed by name. Some of the names have a good bit of information - the names of everyone in the family and their ages, places or origin, etc. Others only have the name of the passenger who booked the trip. I will be happy to do lookups for anyone who asks. I also have a copy of the 100th Anniversary of the Bickley Methodist Church book covering the dates of 1888-1988. However, it does have data on some of the smaller churches on the "Bickely circuit" that goes back much further than 1888. The membership list for the Bickley church is there in its entirety for all those years, as well as the membership records and short church histories from other small churches like - Elizabeth Chapel, Nicholls United Meth., New Prospects, Roxie Mae, Pine Grove (burial place for James and Cinderella Lee and many of their children), Bethel, Meeks, Mt. Zion and Anthony. Also, Camp Ground, Waresboro First United. One of the most interesting things in the books are the "mini" biographies of the founding members of the Bickley Church (my grandparents are among them). Others among the founding members are: BENSON AND INEZ BUTLER ISAAC CARTER AND MARY ANNA "MINNIE" WAY CARTER(this is a very detailed bio) ADDISON WAY CARTER, SR AND RHODA MAE FRIER CARTER WILLIAM OSBURN "GOOD" AND EVA DOUGLAS CARTER WILL BRINSON AND AGNES CARTER LEE (NOTE: Will was the brother of my grandfather, Henry Newton Lee. Will was named after a family friend "Will T. BRINSON" -"big man of Bolen. I have a photo of Will T. Brinson - actually it's an advertising card - showing Will (weighing at the time, 570 lbs.) sitting in a wagon manufactured by J.A. Jones Buggy's and Wagons. I suppose having Will sit in one of the wagons attested to it's strength. There are lots of photos of the old Methodist churches and their congregations standing out front. Please let me know if you would like copies of any of this information. I will be glad to send it to you. About the Will T. Brinson advertising card - I have this card scanned (both sides) and will be glad to send that to anyone interested. My own research is on the following lines: LEE, JOHN MILLER, JACOB (WILLIAM HENRY MILLER) CASON, THOMAS MCDONALD, RANDAL BUCHANAN????- MY g.grandmother was Annie Belle Buchanan who married Walter L. Cason. Huxford says that she was from Florida and that her father was Christopher Columbus Buchanan - THIS IS NOT HER FATHER!!! She may have been born in Fla. but he is proven NOT to be her father. Her death certificate (filled out by a Cason family member) gives her father's name as "Hy" Buchanan - I have always assumed this to be a nickname for Hyram/Hiram. ANY information on Annie Belle Buchanan or her 1/2 sister, Bobbie Lee Buchanan will be much appreciated. In 1885, when my G.Grandmother was married to Walter Cason - Bobbie Lee Buchanan and many family members were living in Magnolia, Ark. I look forward to hearing from old friends and new ones!! ps. I also have a lot of grave photos from my own research if anyone is interested. Judy Stirckland

Good to see your name again. I would love for you to check for any Rowland /Roland Ruis/Rewis as I haven't been able to find what Ruis or Rowland entered the U. S. that connects to my lines. At your leisure, of course. Joyce
