I am a MIMS descendant too. ~~~~~ Sharon I don't descend from the Mims, but they married into several of the lines I descend from, such as Waters, Tanner and Studstill. Alex Mims was a neighbor of my 2G-grandfather Washington Wayne Waters, CSA b 1844. As a matter of fact, Waters sold his piece of property in what is now Jeff Davis County to Alexander Mims in 1885.
