Don't know the correct answer for that question. Some say it was a nick name some say it was just a typo................I keep checking the back of the new books as they come out to see if a correction was ever found or made................so far nothing different on this! What I do a lots of times is this, depending on the timeframe that is. I take what I see. Then I try and find it on the census myself! With my own eyes. OR in some other document if it gets back into the "Talley folks" That is what I call the US Censuses where a lot of folks were just a little talley mark..............................they did not count as a human just a little talley was all........................lol I got a bunch of good stuff from Mr. Moody. But am still trying to weed through it all............................ I am trying to find out if the John Lee brother to Sarah Leigh {sic} Is the same John Lee as in John Lee or Ware Co. GA or not! If that John Lee is the same as the John Lee who had the Sister Sarah Leigh.....................then Mr. Moody has stuff that can help a lot of us on this list!
