    3. Gail, I am not Sheila and pardon me for jumping in on this. According to the Lee House webside, The LEE Genealogy "Info Hub" , Walter Washington Lee has not been confirmed to be the father of John Lee (1755). Here is the link to this site: http://leehouse.tripod.com/Jlx-home.htm There is lots of good information on this site. I have chosen to keep him as the father only because of the gravesite information. Again, sorry to jump in on this...... 3. Well Ok I went to check this out. This is what I find I show a Walter Washington Lee b. abt. 1725 to be the Father of MY John Lee RS of Ware Co. GA who was b. abt. 1755 which given this would have made Walter age 30 when son John was born.......................but this does make sense to me. This would work! Even today men aged 30 become Fathers....................... At the website link that you sent to me I found a file a zip file named wwwLeeGed I opened it up The Walter Washington Lee found there in this file was born: July 31, 1812 To late to be this other Walter Washington Lee and even to late to be the Father of a man born in 1755 This would therefore appear to me to be two differnt men with the exact same name, most likely related in some way later on down the road............................Perhaps the Walter Washington Lee that we speak of is this other Walter Washington Lee's Grandfather? Does anyone else on the list see what I am speaking of here? Perhaps this has been part of the problem in the past.
