    3. Is it possible anyone has info on one John Fleming who married Ann Grey she was born ? he was born around 1760 . I have no info on them before this.He was known to have lived on cumberland island in may 7 1787 where he was granted 200 acres of land as his headright. He was one of the twenty men who bought land from a Jacob Weed to establish the town of St Marys. The land was described as Buttermilk Bluff on the St Marys River. The streets of the town was named for these 20 men. In Dec of 1788 he bought 1800 acres for 5 pounds on the west side of cumberland river. In 1788 he assisted the land court at Indian Springs ? on cumberland island at which time he was recognized as John Fleming Esquire. In 1792 he increased his land holdings and the governor appointed him Justice of the Inferior Court. He held that position until his early premature death. He obtained a position as manager of a store owned by Robert Seagroves at Trader's Hill. By this time he was a captain in the Mil! itia. He and a few others were killed by Indians at the store at trader's hill mar 11 1793. Any help on him and his parents would be great. He I believe had two boys one of which married Margaret Nevil Drury which was John Fleming she was daughter of Mills Nevil Drury and Martha Patsy Edwards.. George G married Elizabeth Mills daughter of Joseph Mills and Elizabeth Lane Mills. Thanks Barb Drury

    3. Hi Barb, I do have them in my database, but you apparently have more information than I do. I do have the names of their two sons and who they married, but can't provide you with any more on them than you already have.
