    3. John Lee Esq. and John Lee R.S. have to be two different men. John Lee R.S. had a daughrter named Mary Ann b. 1801 So this Mary would not be her................................ Is the John Lee Esq. always spelled as "Lee" or have you ever seen it as Leigh? The reason that I ask you this, is that in the Chron. of the Scot/Irish that is online there is a John Leigh mentioned several times in those old ct. Records back in VA.................................................... 3. Gail, Yes, John Lee Esq. and John Lee RWS are two different men. I was looking at JL Esq. forthe father of the Mary Lee in the marriage bonds. Her birth date comes closer than any one I have found so far. I have never seen Leigh used for either of these two men. I have seen Leigh used for several of our ancestors during my searches though. I will look at the online site, Chronicles of The Scto/Irish, that you mentioned. Maybe we will be the ones to make a major breakthrough on this family..... dreaming aren't I ? If I do find further information I will pass it along. Thanks, Lorraine >From: "Gail Moore" <[email protected]> > >John Lee Esq. and John Lee R.S. have to be two different men. >John Lee R.S. had a daughrter named Mary Ann b. 1801 >So this Mary would not be her................................ > >Is the John Lee Esq. always spelled as "Lee" or have you ever seen it as >Leigh? > >The reason that I ask you this, is that in the Chron. of the Scot/Irish >that is online there is a John Leigh mentioned several times in those old >ct.
