    3. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2001: Mrs. Nella B. Friedrich, 93 (11-30-2001) Fairfax community of Ware Co. native (Miles-Odum Funeral Home, Waycross) Nella B. Friedrich, 93, died Friday morning at Baptist Village after an extended illness. She was born in the Fairfax Community of Ware County, daughter of the late Hubert Dessau Bunn and Harriette Dozier Bunn and the widow of the late Jack Friedrich. She attended the Lucy Cobb Institute in Athens, Ga. and Shorter College in Rome. She had lived many years in Dallas, Tex., returning to Waycross in 1979 where she was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the U. M. W., Cherokee Garden Club and the Golden K Club. She is survived by three nieces Mary Winn Pruet and her husband Frank of Waycross, Louise Liedke and her husband Fred of Northford, Conn., and Barbara Roquemore and her husband Rocky of Bay Town, Tex.; four nephews J. B. Harley, Jr. and his wife Helen of Woodbine, Ga., William Beardmore and his wife Terri of Round Rock, Tex., Dessau Benn of Orlando, Fla., and Lloyd Bunn of Lawrenceville, Ga. and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon (12-2-01) at two o'clock at the graveside in Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home from six until seven o'clock Saturday night. Mrs. Carolyn S. Concepcion, 93, (11-30-2001) Philippine Islands native (Music Funeral Home, Waycross) Regal B. Concepcion May 11, 1908 - November 30, 2001 Mr. Regal B. Concepcion, 93, died Friday night (Nov. 30, 2001) at Satilla Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. He is a native of the Phillipine Islands, but he has been a resident of the United States since he was sixteen years old and a resident of Waycross since 1978. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He worked as a representative for Duncan YoYo. He was once the World Champion YoYo Master which allowed him to perform in front of many kings, queens and other heads of states all over the world. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Men's Bible Class. He was also a member of the Waycross Lion's Club and the American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Concepcion of Waycross; three step-children, Evelyn Prewitt of Union City, IN, Marianne Brown of Centerville, OH, and Billy Jean Griner of Waycross; nine step-grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren; and several brothers, sisters, and many other relatives. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday (Dec. 3, 2001) at First United Methodist Church. Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Mausoleum. The family will receive friends 7 until 9 o'clock Sunday at Music Funeral Home. The Waycross Lion's Club are requested to meet 1:30 p.m. Monday at the church to serve as honorary pallbearers. Mr. John Wesley Morgan, 66 (12-1-2001) Millwood native (Miles-Odum Funeral Home, Waycross) John Wesley Morgan, 66, died Saturday morning (12-1-01) at his residence in Waycross after an extended illness. He was a native of Millwood, Ga., son of the late John T. Morgan and Ofiff Morgan. He had lived most of his life in Ware County and retired in 1997 from Walker-Jones Chevolet, attended the University Blvd. Church of God and served two years with the U. S. Army. He is survived by his wife Jeanette Inman Morgan of Waycross; two sons Hershal Morgan and his wife Jan of Eustis, Fla., and John W. Morgan, Jr. of Baxley, Ga.; three daughters Debra K. Morgan of Blackshear, Ga., Teresa Ralph of Waycross and Esther Franklin and her husband Jim of Umatilla, Fla.; two sisters Luella Grantham of St. Mary's, Ga. and Mary Nelson of Savannah, Ga.; eleven grandchildren Jeffery and Eric Meeks, Monica Brantley, Chris Ralph, Heather , David, Jimmy and Tammy Franklin, Melody Bonilla, Hershal Morgan, Jr. and Mellissa Adams; three great grandchildren Micheal and Adam Bonilla, Ashton Franklin and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon (12-3-01) at two o'clock in the chapel of the Miles-Odum Funeral Home. Burial will be in Kettle Creek Cemetery. Mr. Foy D. Faulk, 66 (12-2-2001) Waycross native (Music Funeral Home, Waycross) Foy D. Faulk December 13, 1934 - December 02, 2001 Mr. Foy D. Faulk, 66, died Sunday (Dec. 2, 2001) at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL after an extended illness. He is a native and lifelong resident of Waycross. He is the son of the late R. M. Faulk. He is retired from CSX Railroad as an electrician. He also served in the United States Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Lillian Bennett Faulk of Waycross; his mother, Mrs. R. M. ''Spec'' Faulk of Waycross; sister, Betty Faulk Boatwright of St. Simon's; brother, Kenny Faulk (wife Joyce) of Waycross; father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Hudson, 83, died Thursday (December 6, 2001) in Baptist Village following an extended illness. He was a native of Pelham, Georgia but had resided in Waycross most of his life. He was son of the late Franklin David Hudson and Delia Akridge Hudson. He was retired from the U. S. Postal Service and served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Arthur Moore Sunday School Class. The survivors include his wife of 55 years, Charlotte Lovett Hudson of Waycross; a daughter, Jan Lanier (husband Robert) of Waycross; a son, Steve Hudson (wife Jeannette) of Waycross; a sister, Hazel Barber of Waycross; three grandsons, Jason Lanier (wife Renee) of Waycross, Nathan Lanier of Jacksonville, Fla., and Dustin Hudson of Eastman. A funeral service will be held 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Music Funeral Home Friday night from 6 until 8 o'clock. The Arthur Moore Sunday School Class are requested to meet at the Church at 2:10 p.m. to serve as honorary pallbearers. Sewell of Waycross, three sons, Johnny Chism of Jacksonville, FL., Frank Chism of Jacksonville, FL., Charlie Sewell of Waycross, GA., a daughter, Charlene Anderson and her husband Shannon of Waycross, GA., two grandchildren, Dustin Sewell and Austin Anderson both of Waycross, two sisters, Betty Hyde of Waycross and Susie Barnett of Jacksonville, FL., and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Sunday December 9, 2001 at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel with the burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
