I do know that his family lived in the Okefenokee Swamp with other family members. About 10 members of the Pittman family were murdered by Indians. It happened in the early 1900's. Also, there are two seperate Pittman families in Ware Co. We must both be from the same family, since we can't find anything on them. I have the Hall's from my Great Aunt Emma. She married a Hall and a Strickland. The Griffins are my Great Grandmother Ethel Lena Griffin Pittman's family. I think the Lee's are through my Grandmother's Cousin who married a Lee. Confused yet? Let me know if you find anything. I haven't looked for documentation yet on the murders. I'll let you know if I do. Julie Fought West Memphis, Ar.
