Sharon I have done that same thing for at least 10 years LOL, My biggest help has been posting to a surname query site. Also I have now accumalted several pics of a Aunt which was a twin to my granfather and a pic of a great grandmother. I also discovered a Island named after our family 30 miles from where I live. I don't know if this will help but I found several lost family checking geneaology websites in florida. Good luck.
