THIS is what we should be doing. Going over all these postings and adding our additions and corrections. Great! They had some creative ways of spelling on some of the Census for sure. On this particular one they use the McKennon spelling. Also, I do not find a MANSELL listed in the index at all...so you see how your post could help a lot of people. Your Hiram was listed as a McK(e)innon on this Census. Thank you very much. I hope some others will do the same. BTW, this was my very first attempt at transcribing...looking back now on page 105 after doing all the other pages and working on the 1840 now, I would probably have seen that this name was "Hiram".
