I am stuck...stuck..stuck, on all of my surnames. I don't know where else to turn. It seems like I have looked through all of the books at the library. I know this ain't true, but it sure feels like I have. I'm searching the surnames: ALDRIDGE, BAGLEY, GUNTER, HOWELL, WYATT, THOMAS, *MELTON (no relation)* I'm also looking for the parents of Eliza Catherine "Kate" THOMAS. I haven't done any research on the Thomas surname...yet. I'm looking for Matthew M. MELTON's wife, Matthew is buried at High Bluff Cemetery, I wondered what happened to his wife Lilla? She is not buried next to him. Matthew is buried next to her brother Willie Wyatt. Does anyone know if Matthew & Lilla had children together? My most looked for name is Needham GUNTER. If anyone runs across this name in their research, please, please let me know. I have a guess that I descend through Needham GUNTER, perhaps not Richard Gunter. I could be very wrong about this, but I would like any information, anyhow.
