Dear GAWARE Friends and Cousins, In a continued effort to encourage you to take advantage of this great opportunity we have through RootsWeb to place queries; and very often make discoveries I want to give you an update on our list status. As I told you the other day, we lost a few members due to the heavy activity of the *vie ruh sez* and *wurmz* However, we have even had some new subscribers join us, since that time. We currently have 120 subscribers to the GAWARE List. It has been higher and at times it has been lower too. Sounds like an old song..."sometimes we up and sometimes we down?" We always have new people 'trying out the list,' so to speak. So it is a very good thing, to repost your queries from time to time. We have been blessed that many of those who check out this group, choose to stay. If we all work together, as we always have in the past, GAWARE can continue. It CAN be an effective research tool, and hopefully we can have some fun and meet some cousins and make some friends as we work together. Each subscriber to this list is a vital part. This list, as a matter of fact, is only as active as the members. So, when you wonder why nothing from GAWARE, stop and ask how long has it been since YOU posted your query, or shared something with the rest of us. You are the list. Christopher mentioned that he missed many of the old list members. I do too. If you have correspondence with them, tell them they are missed. They are welcome to join us and participate in the love of genealogy and history of Ware County areas. Sharon Driver Wright shadri@perry.gulfnet.com
