Hope everyone is having a great New Year's Day. I hope to find some information on my 3rd great-grandfather, David C Brown. He was born, I believe in Baker Co, FL or nearby. He married Temperance Rhoden and they had a daughter named Caroline Brown. I have found him on the 1850 Columbia Co, FL census (age 26) living in the home of William and Sarah Cone. On the 1860 Columbia Co, FL census he is living next door to many of the Cones. I do not know if he is related to the Cone line or not. He is listed with Tempy and 3 children. 1870 Census - Columbia Co, FL Brown, David C 45 Tempy 42 (can't make out) 14 Caroline 10 David 5 Mariah 15 baby 9/12 1880 Census - Charlton Co, GA Brown, David C 55 Temperance 55 David 14 Rowland, Ezekiel 20 Caroline 20 Nettie 1/12 Sometime in the 1870s, he moved to Charlton Co. This is the last I have on him. If anyone knows of this David's parents or where/when he died, I would love to hear from you. Christi

Hi , I did a look up in the History of Charlton County,Georgia but could not find anything to help you. There were BROWNS, ROWLANDS and RHODENS but none that matched who you were looking for.
