The second son listed below of my ggg-grandparents, Asa Jackson DRIVER more than likely born in Ware County...had a son who he named Sharpe H. DRIVER. Is anyone on this list researching the SHARPE name? Just a curiosity as to whether this might be a connection somehow. My apologies if I caused any confusion, other than my own, that is. <G> The surname SHARPE did not appear on the 1850 Census postings by Christi...I saw it on the list of names in the History of Ware County, posted by Linda Clark. As follows: Sharpe, W. W. Sharpe, Mrs. W. W. I knew it had registered somewhere connected with Ware County. I am still curious about it and wonder if there could be a connection. I do not have very many of my grandmothers' names yet, so always looking for any possible leads. Sharon Driver Wright
Shadi: There is an old Sharpe Cemetery over in Carroll Co. GA. It is very old and no longer used. It shows up listed in a book in the Carrollton, GA Library. This may prove helpful at some point in time.
