    3. Sharon, These notes are incredible :-) It is wonderful to see that people have preserved history in such a personal way. Imagine reading one of these old papers and seeing your relative's name :-) My dad was in the Marines; having signed up in Homerville in 1946 or 47 (my mind isn't working well this morning!) and I've heard my mother and grandmother speak of Granny taking him over to Nahunta to catch the bus back to Cherry Point, NC.
