1st number is the line and the second is the houshold number. House Number 360 in the Census takers district for example. The 1500 in the example above is the value of the real estate owned by the individual. Hope this helps. Sharon

Hi Carol, The 360 is the dwelling number in the order visited during the census. When you see 2 numbers, it is dwelling number then family number. I think on some census counts, if more than one family was together, they each were counted. The 1500 is the value of the real estate owned.
