He is the Chief Clerk to a Staff Officer of the Panama Canal Department. MR LAKE formally held the grade of Master Sargent of which he was promoted a year after he became Corporal. After Graduating from high school, he enlisted in the Army in 1936 and was a member of the Eighth Infantry at Fort Shriver, Georgia for nearly three years. He came to the Panama Zone in June 1939 with an infantry organization. A Poland - China Sow belonging to W R JOHNSTON of Hoboken had 16 pigs in one litter but only 12 pigs lived.
