Hi Cheryl, I don't have anything on John E. and Matilda M. Fitchett but I do have a copy of Kettle Creek Cemetery in Ware Co it has the following Fitchett's Homer Morris Fitchett Born 19 Sept 1925 Clinch Co. Died Apr 7 1976 Ware Co. Katie Glenn Fitchett Born Oct 24 1906 Died Oct 27 1989 Ware Mary Olive Fitchett Born Oct 00 1949 Died Apr 9 1950 Richard R Fitchett Born Apr 00 1899 Died Apr 20 1952 Wanda Hammond
I am seeking information on John E. and Matilda M. Fitchett and possible family buried at Hargraves Cemetery. There are multiple markers surrounding these graves without names which are believed to be Fitchett burials. John E. Fitchett - B: 15 Mar 1879 D: 14 Apr 1947 Matilda Murray Fitchett - B: 12 Jan 1884 D: 08 Nov 1960 I would appreciate any assistance or a pointer in the right direction. Thank you. Cheryl
Glynn County Genealogy & History can be found at www.glynngen.com or the sister site at www.rootsweb.com/~gaglynn/ Subscribe to the Glynn Co list by sending an email: GAGLYNN-L-request@rootsweb.com with subscribe in the sub and body, and of course, all those obits went to the GA archives at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ga/gafiles.htm Amy Hedrick is the submitter and she has quite a lot of great info on just about all the wiregrass families. Disregard the e-mails I sent about Phoebe Weeks O'Steen, checked my notes and I didn't have her married to a John T. Roberts. I had gone back, changed it to John R. Roberts. I guess I had a senior moment. Thanks, Sue From the Desktop of Sue & Richard Marsh
