Sheila, I have Russell and Lydia married 17 Sep 1835 in Wayne, Russell with a second wife but later, Mary Taylor md 17 May 1876. Bill ~~~~~~ (IF my info is correct) I show Russell + Sarah Ann Hagin 9-17-1835 (thanks for the correction on her name Shelia). Sarah must have died after 4-19-1838 because that is the birthdate of their youngest daughter Rhoda Ann. I have his date of marriage to Lydia Waldron as Abt 1839 only because their first daughter Sarah Ann was born 9-22-1839. Lydia died 3-9-1875 and Russell then married Mary Taylor b 4-18-1836 on 5-17-1876 and I show one child Jacob b 1-30-1885. I suspect there are more children born before Jacob, but don't have any other info. Sherry

Is there a possiblity that Sarah Jane Grooms b. Aug. 16, 1844, daughter of Josiah Grooms and Sarah Ann Hagin be the Sarah Grooms that Russell CSA Raulerson (b. 1815) married? It is a stretch given the age difference and the date of marriage would be much later as she wasn't born at the time of the Sarah Grooms/Russell Raulerson marriage (September 17, 1835)..... Just a thought to ponder. Sheila Sheila Brantley County, GA --------------------------------- Yahoo! FareChase - Search multiple travel sites in one click.

Barb, Thanks......... That Lucretia "Lieu Crecy" Purdom (b. 1824) would be the daughter of Thomas RS Purdom and Mary Ann Unknown. I can't connect this Purdom line to that of Thomas Hartwell Purdom. Here is Allies siblings: Sameul Abner married Henrietta Riley, Agnes Isabel, Grover Cleveland married Katie Buie, Mary J Harrel married William Strickland, James W and Wade Hampton I don't know who they married. Hope this helps. Oscar and Josephs parents were Joseph G T Drury and Mary Selinia Beasley. Their children plus the above two were, Annie G, Robert Roy, Fannie Southwell, Benjamin Hampton, Laura T all Drury's. I have a Lucretia Purdom married to Archibald Crews . Hope this helps.
