She was a native of Pierce County. She was married to the late Robert J. Russell and Jim Angel. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Edward Davis and Lois Vernon Hewitt Davis, a son, Edward Russell, her grandparents, Albert and Nora Bell Carter Davis, Andrew Jackson and Ada Hewitt Jackson. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Clarksville. She had a varied career as a beautician, CAN, motel manager and was an avid genealogist. She was the owner of Angel�s Unlimited Research Library and the editor of the Hoot Owl Express in Waycross. She worked with the Okefenokee Historical and Genealogical Society and collected priceless information on cemetery records in Southeast Georgia. The survivors include three sons, Robert Russell, III (wife Kathy) of Cleveland, GA, James Russell of Atlanta, Anthony Angel of Virginia; two sisters, Judy Joiner (husband Kenny) and Janice Smith (husband Richard) both of Waycross; a brother, Billy Davis (wife Carol) of Waycross; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday (March 3, 2006) at Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Music Funeral Home Thursday night from 6 until 8.
