I have a copy of the print-out from city hall of those buried in Lott Cemetery. Teresa, thanks so much for your response. You may well have been my past resourse for this data, your name now "rings a bell." I had some years ago investigated this cemetery and someone responded, perhaps yourself. Years have passed and somehow got back to the subject. Just want to make certain that I had recorded this data correctly. As mentioned, the on-line-version does not contain these names. May I ask where this info came from, and older list perhaps, or maybe you have seen the cemetery in person. Feel better now, knowing that I recorded the cemetery accurately. Again, thanks so much. Thanks, I was told there was a record he transferred his membership to it, and that date was close to his death date, i'm assuming he proably was then buried there. Thanks again for the leads. joel -----Original Message----- From: Olivia Mullis <oliviamullis@carolina.rr.com> To: GAWARE-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Tue, 04 Apr 2006 17:16:55 -0400 Subject: Re: [GAWARE] Macedonia Baptist Church in Ware County Joel, He might be in Appling County. Hello All, I am one of several that has offered to do lookups on POWG, however at this time I am not able to. We have had a death in the family, Annie Ruth Johns (died Saturday, April 1, 2006 at her home in Bachlott Community, Brantley County, Georgia). Hopefully in another week or so I will be back online more regular and I will be more than happy to do any lookups. If you have not had a lookup and/or still need a lookup then, please email me and I will do my best to do the lookup. Thank you all and please keep us in your prayers. In my previous research efforts, I was informed that remains of a Brinson family could be found in Lotts Cemetery, Waycross, Ga. Despite the fact that I located Lotts Cemetery on-line I found none of the names involved. It is well known that this Brinson group indeed resided there. I read that many of the markers/stones in that cemetery were perhaps destroyed over the years. I find it difficult to believe an entire family group buried as recent as 1931 cannot be found! Here is the family that I seek, perhaps someone can help me out here. William Thomas Brinson b. Aug 9, 1862 Lucia Allen Brinson Mills D. Brinson b. Dec. 6, 1887 Irene A. Brinson b. I have the following information in my files....(not proven) received from other researchers and from 1840 Ware County census. Mary Ann Newbern b.1809-1814 Ware Co., GA d. 1858 Ware Co., Ga Richard Lee b. 1796 Wayne/Johnston Co., NC according to 1840 Ware Co. Ga census, pg 139,Richard Lee was living in 451st District G. M. District of Ware County with female age 20-30(which I have assumed was Mary Ann Newbern). This Richard Lee is in my line and is a cousin. I have no information on J.A.
